Webster's defines a milestone as a "significant point in development." Most of our lives are lived in the usual day-to-day, but occasionally they are marked by milestone events. Thinking back over your life you can probably recall a handful of truly remarkable, memorable, and significant events that help shape and define who you are today. These are milestone events.

For a few of these events, you probably have a photographic record or reminder that is reviewed and cherished. For others, the memory is all that remains.

My goal is to capture those milestone events for my clients in a beautiful and artistic way by putting myself in the lives of the people as much as into the event itself. The end result is often a milestone in itself in the memories that are made reviewing, remembering, and reliving the event with friends and family.

Photos, although a thin slice in time, serve as reminder, a marker--a milestone. They allow us to remember where we've come from, but also point us to future milestone events which will shape our lives.
